Update: On Monday night, March 2, "The Bachelor" did propose to one woman, Melissa, and then dumped her for "Milwaukee's Molly" who he had earlier rejected. Tonight, Tuesday, according to abc.com, ""The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, Part 2" brings an emotional conclusion to the shocking season of The Bachelor!"
My wife watches "The Bachelor." So I'm occasionally subjected to it even as I try whole-heartedly to concentrate on the NBA game that's playing on my laptop as she watches her escapist reality fix.
So, I know that 24-year-old Molly Malaney, a Grand Rapids, Mich., native but Milwaukee resident, has made the final two. She'll battle for the heart of single dad Jason Mesnick with Melissa from Dallas in the final episode.
Malaney, who according to most sources works at Kohl's as an assistant to a buyer, is rumored to be back working at Kohl's, sporting a darker hairstyle.
According to some blogs she is one of the front runners to star in the next season of "The Bachelorette." This rumor might mean that she doesn't end up with a wedding proposal from Mesnick.
Anyone seen Molly around town? Got any scoops? Use the talkbacks now.
"The Bachelor" airs at 8 p.m. Monday on ABC and online at abc.com.

Apparently Molly does not get the "final rose", but ends up with him in the end in a 'scandalous' fashion. Check out Reality Steve's blog, but only if you don't mind a spoiler www.realitysteve.com

As a self-proclaimed "Bachelor/Bachelorette Fanatic", my guess is that Molly is NOT the gal who Jason proposes to. If she was, I'm sure we would've heard about it by now, just thru the "Milwaukee Workforce" grapevine.

I heard through the grapevine that there is a surprise twist in the final episode. Both lady finalists figure out that Jason is a narcissistic loser and opt out of the lame-o premise of the show choosing each other for a hot lipstick lesbian coupling instead. The final scene is the two new lovers adopting cats. Take that America!
