Looking for a fun-loving, easy-going girl? Then Natalie is for you!
Every once in a while, a dog enters our program that all of the volunteers fall for and several even contemplate personally adopting! I have to admit for a split second (or two) upon meeting her, I wished I could adopt her and I have spent the last week thinking of people I know that would be a good match for Natalie. She is just that cool.
Nat is about 4 months old and is truly a "mixed breed." She has the forehead and body of a lab, the muzzle and ears of a hound, the legs of a great dane, the feet of a border collie, and the personality of a pointer. (When she is concentrating, she actually does "point!")
We'll probably never know for sure what her heritage is but we can guarantee a very social and extremely intelligent girl. She would make an outstanding therapy dog as she is attached to her people and very intuitive. A placement with dog-friendly children or in a home with other social animals would be preferred.
She is doing well learning her basic commands and is housebroken.
Natalie is currently in foster care with Hershey but they do not require placement together. Visit them and all of our dogs available for adoption at the Petsmart located at 74th & Edgerton in Greenfield this Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.
