Are you a Milwaukee-area parent with strong opinions? Great, we need you!

Once a month, OnMilwaukee.com will publish an article on a parent-themed subject that includes the opinions of local moms and dads. We need a pool of parents to whom we can e-mail the topic, and receive a response within two days. You do not have to contribute every month, but can if you want to.

Are you interested in being a part of the OnMilwaukee.com Parent Posse? If so, e-mail Kids and Family editor Molly Snyder Edler at molly@staff.onmilwaukee.com and provide the following information:

1. Please type "Parent Posse" in the subject line.
2. In your e-mail, please include your first and last name, age, neighborhood, number of children / their ages and your profession, if you work outside the home.
3. Specify if you are open to receiving a question every month, or if you would like to be polled less frequently.
4. The first article topic is television, so please include your thoughts on kids and TV. You can answer this however you wish, but here are questions to get your creative juices flowing: Do you have a television in your house? If not, why? If so, how is television helpful? Do you limit the amount of TV your kids watch? Should young children watch television? What are the best shows for kids on TV? Do you feel guilty when your kid watches TV?

Any Milwaukee-area parent is eligible to be a part of the Parent Posse, regardless of the age of their child. The articles will run on the last Monday of every month and will include the parenting issue, followed by blurbs from parents. Your name and neighborhood will be printed. The first Parent Posse article will run in a couple of weeks.

"I am amazed by the thoughtful talkbacks -- both positive and negative -- posted at the end of OnMilwaukee.com's Kids & Family articles, and the OnMilwaukee.com Parent Posse will shed even more light on the diverse opinions of Milwaukee parents," says Edler. "Bring it on, Milwaukee moms and dads!"
