Event Description
Day Three. In conjunction with the exhibition "Big and Little: Paintings by Susan Diehl," this hands-on workshop is for those who are planning to travel to local destinations as well as far off locations. Participants will get the feel of sketching and painting on location. Diehl’s work, in which she recreates little moments of reality, will provide the influence for participants. Children will learn to be prepared to capture trips and memories in sketches to look fondly back on for years to come. By the end of the course, participants will have developed skills in drawing with pencil, pen, ink and watercolor rendering. They will have applied these skills to depicting architecture and vegetation in small format works. They will have been given ideas for creating their own portable traveling studio.
General admission to the Museum: $5 Adults/$3 Seniors, Veterans and Students/free to members, Active Military. For more information, call 414-278-8295.
