Event Description
Enroll your kids in a "culinary camp" that will get them cooking while learning about important events in the history of our country. Discover what kids in the colonial times did for fun and prepare some recipes their own families would have enjoyed. Kids ages 9-13 will learn proper knife skills, safe kitchen tips, easy recipes, and have fun eating the food they've prepared! Classes are taught by Culinary Director Jill Nickerson in Madame Kuony's Kitchen. Curriculum will include: Monday- Colonial Times, Tuesday- Homesteading, Wednesday- the 1904 World's Fair, Thursday- the Great Depression, Friday- the 1950's. Cost is $35/class. Very limited space is available! Call today to make your reservation at 336.1111, or visit the website link above for more information.
