Franklin’s Legend Park band shell will be transformed into a Caribbean beach when the Franklin Cultural Arts Center brings an “Island Music” free concert to the park.  “It’s cheaper than an airline ticket to Jamaica!” says Michael Drake, one of the three featured performers at the event. Drake, trumpet player, singer, and song writer, whose musical style has been described as one part Latin rhythms, one part Jamaican rhythms, and one part smooth Caribbean flavored Jazz, is sure to transport you to the Islands for one last taste of summer in Franklin.
