Event Description

Capoeira Corpo & Movimento will host it’s 9th annual conference entitled "Capoeira - A Pastime that Unites People." Our annual conference will promote and educate the public about the art of Capoeira and other Brazilian cultural art forms through a series of courses, lectures, and performances. This year we welcome Capoeira Master Antonio Soares (Mestre Angola), James Sera (Professor Jim), and Dr. Bryan Kennedy.

Join us for a free Children’s Capoeira Workshop at the United Community Center on May 23, adult Capoeira Workshops on May 24 at UWM-Greene Hall, and finally the conference celebration featuring performances and special guest lectures on May 25. For schedule of events, please visit our website through the link above or call 414.732.8379.
