Milwaukee Rescue Mission Days of Hope Open House

Milwaukee Rescue Mission, located at 830 North 19th Street
Saturday, May 17, 10:00 am to 2:30 pm

Event Description

Milwaukee Rescue Mission recognizes 115-year anniversary with free public event “Days of Hope” open house. The celebration will include interactive tours every 15 minutes, photographic displays outlining the Mission’s history, food and fellowship. The event is named "Days of Hope" because a full day of care at the Mission costs just $33.37, so every $33.37 raised creates another day of hope.

Guests will learn more about the Mission’s programs and services. The individuals and families the Mission serves must address often-heartbreaking needs, generally in academic, relational, and vocational areas. The Mission offers life-change opportunities through three primary program areas: Safe Harbor, housing and supportive services to homeless men; Joy House, housing and supportive services for homeless women and their children; and the CrossTrainers Academy, a Christian School for disadvantaged youth.

Since its inception, the Mission has maintained a firm commitment to bringing compassionate hope to our community's disadvantaged. Through the compassionate provision of spiritual and material services, the Mission also seeks to effect meaningful and radical life changes.  For more information about the Mission and “Days of Hope” open house, please call (414) 935-0236 or visit the link above.
