Event Description

In conjunction with the 2008 national conference, Prevent Child Abuse America will present a Celebrity Chef Special Event to be held at the Milwaukee Public Market. This cooking demonstration featuring healthy family meals will be presented by Chef Wynnie Stein from the famed Moosewood Restaurant in Ithaca, New York.

Chef Stein is a co-founder of the Moosewood collective, and has been a cookbook author and chef for more than 20 years. She has spent the last few years helping develop and market a line of Moosewood's organic soups and frozen entrees that are available nationwide. At this special event, guests will sample dishes created from Chef Stein's springtime menu and receive recipes to try at home. Moosewood cookbooks will be available for purchase and Chef Stein will happily provide autographs. A silent auction will be held featuring cuisine, travel and lifestyle items.
