Event Description Hounds Tooth has been selected as one of 8 bands to compete in the 1st Grafton Blues Challenge at the Circle B Recreation Center in Cedarburg. A panel of qualified judges will select the top 3 bands. The #1 band will go to Memphis on January 28-31,2009 to represent the Grafton Blues Association and compete in the International Blues Challenge! This is a great opportunity for a local band! Former winners include: Michael Burks, Tommy Castro, Albert Cummings, Delta Moon, Zac Harmon, Susan Tedeschi, Watermelon Slim.....and MORE!
There will be a $10 cover charge. Come and support your local blues musicians and help send a local blues band to the Memphis International Blues Challenge in 2009. Other bands competing include The Backalley Band, Charles Walker Band, Maple Road, Kenny J, Blue Wagon, Queenie; The Blue Cats, Sue DaBaco; Wise Fools, and Matt Hendricks.
