Event Description

In follow up to the overwhelming positive feedback of our first event last November, we’re holding a second gathering in the Student Union Fireside Lounge. This event is about allowing members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Straight Allies community to openly express their thoughts, feelings, emotions that relate to their past, present, future identities in a creative literary fashion.

This is Part Deux of the commUNITY series, this time being sponsored by the UWM LGBT Resource Center and UWM Student Association. The guest speaker for Part Deux is Carmen Alicia Murguia, a 1991 graduate of Minnesota’s Loft Literary Center Writers of Color Program.
