Event Description

2008 Fine food preparation is an art form and a matter of taste. It takes time and talent to put the two together. That’s what has led six master chefs of four well-known area restaurants to combine their talents and preach what they practice in an unusual 11-week culinary art series hosted by Marcus Hotels and Resorts. Each session revolves around a different theme and involves food preparation, presentation and wine pairing. Faculty includes chefs from the Pfister, Kil@wat, Milwaukee Chophouse, Mason Street Grill, and the Grand Geneva Resort.

Classes will be held each Saturday March through May 10th. The Saturday classes will be limited to 20 participants who will be seated at the kitchen counter at the Mason Street Grill. The counter gives the participants a close-up of the stoves and preparation tables. Each lesson will feature the preparation of at least three of the chefs’ specialties. Each of the chef’s samplings will be paired with wine or spirits for the participants to enjoy.

Cost is $20 per person, per class. Anyone interested in learning more or registering for the classes can call 414-298-3131 or visit our website through the link above.
