Event Description

Enjoy a preview screening of the critically-acclaimed PBS series Independent Lens, followed by a facilitated discussion. Born in a Thai refugee camp on Cambodian New Year, filmmaker Socheata Poeuv grew up in the U.S. never knowing her family had survived the Khmer Rouge genocide. She travels to Cambodia in search of the truth and why her family's history had been buried in secrecy for so long.

Free and open to the public. Please visit our website through the link above for more information.
