Event Description

Small dogs often get a bad rap because they can develop Napoleon-like behavior problems. This specialty class, taught by Amy amen, owner of Amiable Dog Training, includes care and training for our tiny dog friends (i.e. toy breed dogs and dogs under 15 lbs. at maturity). Topics will include special needs of small dogs, making the most of having a small dog, socializing with people and animals, house training and problem solving, and listening to commands.

Please bring a collar (not a harness), a six foot leash, and a portable platform (should be 18-24 inches high, stable, and large enough for a dog to stand on – a breakfast tray or milk crate work well). Cost for four lessons is $75 for one person, one dog. Adult fee is $50 for one person, no dog. Please call 414.289.7785 for more information.
