Experimental film and music are the honored guests at the Milwaukee Art Museum's upcoming fundraiser, "It's all wrong, right?"
The event, part of MAM's annual campaign, takes place Friday, Aug. 26 from 8 p.m. until midnight at the art museum. The cost is $25 and includes music, film, food by Lee John's Catering and an open bar.
Also included in the $25 is admission to MAM's current exhibition, Cut/Film As Found Object, which is usually a $14 admission ticket for non-members.
Tate Bunker, Anne Killelea and Paul Amitai will show their latest projects, and Def Harmonic, Mildew and Collections of Colonies of Bees - along with DJs JDL and Joe Blow -- will provide the sounds.
Kelly Knoke is one of the event's organizers, with fellow MAM employees Kristin Freiberg and Anna Helgeson.
"We feel this is a must-attend event as it's important for Milwaukee's creative establishments to showcase local, experimental artists and equally important for our audience to support local talent by attending events such as ours," says Knoke.
