The sexual exploits of Don Juan are legendary and his story is one of Mozart's finest operas. The Florentine Opera opens its season of seduction with "Don Giovanni," the tale of a man that embodies the spirit of Don Juan.
Don Giovanni cannot tame his sexual needs, he has to resort to rape in one situation which leads to murder and revenge. He also tries to steal away a man's fiancée. He's a rake that loves and leaves his women, he's out for the chase despite who it may hurt. But one of his past women decides that it's time the world know who Don Giovanni really is.
"Don Giovanni" will be at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts Sunday, Nov. 12, Friday, Nov. 17, Saturday ,Nov. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 19. Ticket prices range from $17 to $138.
