Wisconsin residents seem to love traveling to Las Vegas for the gambling, drinking and bountiful buffets.
Now, they have another reason.
Waukesha native Frank Caliendo has signed a 10-year deal to perform at Monte Carlo on the Las Vegas Strip. His new show will begin Oct. 12. Caliendo, who headlined his own TV show "Frank TV" on TBS last year, will continue to work on "FOX NFL Sunday" as well.
Four days a week, he'll travel from his home in Tempe, Ariz., to Las Vegas.
"I'm excited to call Monte Carlo my new home," Caliendo said. "This is Vegas, so this show is going to be bigger and have a higher production value than traditional stand up. I've got a live band, we'll have video segments and maybe even some guest appearances. It's going to have all of the excitement of a TV show but it will be live on-stage and no two shows will be exactly alike."
Tickets for Caliendo's shows at Monte Carlo begin at $59, including tax and service fees. He'll perform Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday beginning at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are available by visiting montecarlo.com.
"We are thrilled to have Frank Caliendo become part of our family," said Anton Nikodemus, president and chief operating officer of Monte Carlo. "Frank is an incredible talent who we know will bring laughter and top-notch entertainment to Monte Carlo for years to come."
