Milwaukee's "fresh energy and old world charm" are featured on "Appetite for Life" with Andrew Zimmern, host of "Bizarre Foods" on The Travel Channel among other things.
The complete episode of this online show is at this link. The show features visits to Usinger's Famous Sausage, Old German Beer Hall and Solly's. It's typical sausage, beer and polka Milwaukee stuff but the opening showcases our city quite well.
In other TV news, Cempazuchi, 1205 E. Brady St., makes its Food Network debut on Monday, Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. The Brady St. restaurant will be featured on "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives." OnMilwaukee.com's Bobby Tanzilo helped coordinate the visit. The show is hosted by Guy Fieri who also visited Comet, 1947 N. Farwell Ave., on a recent trip to Milwaukee. The episode featuring Comet aired in June and is online here.

I love Cempazuchi, but how is it at all considered a diner, drive-in or dive?

I can't stand Zimmern and Fieri. Let me know when Bourdain comes to town.
