Milwaukee just can't get enough of its Chicago-style hot dogs. We're apparently chowing down so many that Mazen Muna, owner of The Dogg Haus, is opening yet another location to sell his beloved bun fillers.
A forthcoming University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee locale marks his fourth Dogg Haus and his fifth restaurant. Mazen opened The Burger Joint this past spring in the former original Bella's Fat Cat location at 1233 E. Brady St.
Muna says this Dogg Haus will be open in late January and will share a building with Quizno's on Kenwood and Downer. Delivery is available for the UWM area and students living in the dorms.
Has this information made you hungry? Find your dogs at 1433 E. Brady St., 1633 W. Wells St. and 318 E. Wisconsin Ave.

I walk into any of the Dogg Haus location, and/or the Burger Joint and I see employees that seem to be enjoying themselves. The music is great whether its some classic rock to some late night hip hop. I look at the menu, they have everything I could ever imagine for a hot dog and more. I order, receive my basket of food, and enjoy. I don't even have to look at the price at the end because I know I'm being served quality food from quality people. To the few that commented poorly, continue shopping at Aldi's and buying your packaged, processed food. Or you could go to Chubby's Cheesesteak and have a $7 sandwich that is a load of cheese wiz and don't forget an extra .75 for some onions. If you don't like that maybe try Jimmy Johns and get a sub with hardly any meat, a head of lettuce for 6 bucks. Wait heres an idea, go to Pzza Shuttle and have a cheese pizza that will cost you 16 dollars. The Dollar Menu at these fast joints are a dollar for a reason, it's crap. Everyone at the Dogg Haus, including the owner Mazen, and the friendly security guard Kenny, keep up the great work, you guys do it the best.

Hi Junque21. I am dissapointed about your comment. Do you realize its 2009? 8 bucks for a full meal icluding an italian roast beef sandwich is not bad at all, especially from a well known place like The Dogg Haus. Why don't you compare that to the sub shops who place 3 slices of processed turkey on a peice of bread and charge $6.00 plus for half a sandwich alone??? In regards to your comment about it being empty? I don't think so. There have been times I've been behind 20+ people in line on numerous occasions and the place is packed. Just a suggestion....Take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to work and save your money, and the readers time.....

WOW! just spent $8.43 for an Italian beef/fries/drink at the downtown location. No wonder it was empty. Did i look like Barrack bringing in some stimulus cash??? Cya!
