It's not the most romantic place in town but The Five O'Clock steakhouses' food will put a smile on anyones face. They will open especially for St. Valentines Day Feb. 14.

If you haven't been to Cafe Corazon, you should check it out, particularly if you are on a budget. The fare is plentiful and inexpensive and the atmosphere is cozy cool. It's a hidden gem and in my current date getaway rotation. It's funny, because I'm not a Riverwest guy, but in addition to Corazon, Centro on Center and the always charming Nessum Dorma also represent sweet little romantic spots that will not break the bank. I've gone the whole fine dining route and find it sort of . . .I don't know, fraught with lofty expectations? But really, is there anything more romantic than a home cooked meal lovingly prepared?
