In response to our item today in OnMilwaukee.com Recommends, the chefs at the Mason Street Grill have given us the ingredients for their chopped salad:
Lettuce mix: Romaine, red leaf, crisphead, Savoy cabbage
Vegetable mix: Tomatoes, English cucumbers, Vidalia onion
Dressing: Sweet and tangy mustard dressing with honey and horseradish
Garnish: Crisp bacon and chopped eggs
You can try to make it at home, but it won't be the same without the server in the white jacket, the flatbread and the ambience you find at the restaurant, which is located in The Pfister Hotel.
