I have nothing against mojitos, but mojitos are out - caipirinhas are in. In fact, USA Today proclaims, 2007 is the year of the caipirinha (Friday, Feb 23's USA Today). The caipirinha is the national drink of Brazil. It is made with cachaca (similar to like rum but made from fresh sugar can instead of molasses), muddled lime wedges, sugar and ice. Some cachacas are nasty but the better brands (Leblon is the best) have a great flavor.
