Bar Louie is offering free steak sandwiches from 4-9 p.m.

After weeks of dismal reports, we finally have good news on the economic front.

Free sandwiches!

Bar Louie, 1114 N. Water St., is offering its signature sandwich -- the Luigi -- for free between 4 and 9 p.m. today. The Luigi, a combination of shaved ribeye steak, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise and olive oil, is free with the purchase of any food or beverage item.

If you can't make it tonight, check out the $1 burger special on Tuesday night.
