Scott brought home a small white bag the other day from the newly opened Franklin's Fine Chocolates, 2474 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Wow. This is some of the better chocolate I've had the chance to sample in awhile, and, happily, practically in my own backyard.
The bag was a sampling of pecans and almonds, crunchy and coated in milky chocolate perfection. I struggled to not inhale the entire, delectable bag.
Chocolatiers Franklin and Sue DiVilio claim the sultry chocolate recipe is a family secret from Franklin's own uncle -- thank goodness they kept the recipe -- because this stuff is lovely. Put Franklin's on your gift buying list. Everybody needs a little chocolate, and with a phone number like (414) SO YUMMY, how can you go wrong?

I was just at Franklin's Fine Chocolates yesterday. What a great experience!! The owner was very cordial and the chocolate was a home made joy! Purchased three 1/2 pounds of delicious treats! Try the chocolate coated orange peels! YUMMY!
