Ceriello Fine Foods at the Milwaukee Public Market opens a full-service butcher shop Wednesday.
One of the first vendors at the Public Market, Ceriello will carry high quality meats and poultry, in addition to the Italian deli products they already offer.
"Ceriello's meat and poultry products are going to be a wonderful addition to our Market," said Market Manager Meg Rauschenberger. "They are picky about ingredients and focused on quality. That, combined with their commitment to customer service, is something you won't find anywhere else in the city."

And *I* love it when people lose sight of the point and make themselves seem jaded and cool. The original poster commented that they wanted CHEAP prices from a venue not known for its cheapness, from a vendor who is targeting (according to the article) a higher-end product. I don't think there's anything wrong with someone calling out the fact that if you want CHEAP, you won't get it at this retailer....and that maybe you should wait until the place OPENS before saying no one will go there.

Well aren't WE just a bit fussy! No, I don't think you're going to find "cheaper" at the public market, which prides itself on unique, high-quality gourmet offerings. May I suggest Sam's Club if you shop on price? Personally, I'm grateful that the Public Market has made its most recent changes. A Sunday afternoon visit was inspiring, with a PACKED salesfloor testing out the latest improvements (i.e., oyster bar, juice bar, Kehr's ice cream.) I look forward to seeing the butcher shop's offerings, before I rank them in any way!
