OPH really focuses on breakfast. It is actually quite bright inside, with east-facing windows and skylights. It closes at 2:00 for the day, so don't expect any activity in the evenings. My wife and I recommend the pancakes and french toast. Our daughter recommends mostly the pancakes.

Ordering a la carte can be a bit confusing, but this place is amazing! Even if you don't like pancakes. Or if you're like me, and love pancakes, but am taking a year off to re-vitalize my tastebuds.

I always thought the restaurant was closed. Every time I pass by it is closed. Granted I only go by in the evening but it should get the majority of business in the evening.

I just went to recently went to Saz's (on State) for their Sunday brunch and it was incredible. They have a buffet that will satisfy everyone's appetite at a great price. I definitely suggest checking out Saz's for your next Sunday breakfast/brunch. I realize this may be a little bit off subject for this column, but thought that people should know about it.

This place looks dark in the photo. Is it really this dark? I've never been there but have been meaning to try it.
