Quit downloading and pay attention: WMSE and its buddies -- local indie record and music stores -- open their vaults to allow the hungry masses of music geekery get their grubby hands all over everything.
Sound appealing? Show up to MSOE's Student Life & Campus Center, 1025 N. Broadway, on Sunday, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the WMSE & Friends Music Rummage Sale Blowout. It'll be just like the good old days when you used to buy music in hard copy form, except there'll be more than just rare and hard to find CDs; the room will also be stockpiled with DVDs, audio equipment and music gear.
Dietrich, host of WMSE's Saturday Morning Car Tunes program, will spin great music all day. Snacks and beverages will be available; alcoholic drinks will be available with ID.
It costs a mere $2 at the door, but you get in free with your ticket voucher from the Call Me Lightning CD release party at the Todd Wehr Conference Center the previous night.
