This weekend is all about Summerfest. The Big Gig hits the lakefront with live music, festival food and plenty of activities for the whole family. But if you're looking for something other than outdoor live music, Milwaukee's got you covered. See professional street racing at its best with the Downer Classic on Saturday. Friday events on Downer include a big Belgian beer festival. More bikes on Sunday in Waukesha with the Carl Zach Cycling Classic. Of course the Brew Crew is in town playing the Giants, and both Greek Fest and Cedarburg's Strawberry Festival celebrate culinary traditions. Outdoors not your thing? The Milwaukee Iron takes on the Green Bay Blizzard Friday night at the Bradley Center or the Indie Fashion Market gathers some local goods at the Fashion Ninja in the Third Ward.
