I don't just love the Internet because it enabled me start my own business nine years ago.
I also love it because it allows me to see such very strange videos online, like the one I came across today, in which George Takei prompts Milwaukeeans to ride MCTS busses.
Yes, Mr. Sulu of "Star Trek" fame wants you to ride the bus. Or at least he did.
This undated YouTube video pretty much speaks for itself. According to the person who uploaded it, it's from 1984, which seems accurate. At any rate, I'd love the meet the person who "greenlighted" this most bizarre spot.
"When I'm out in space, I use the Starship Enterprise to get around," says Takei. "When I'm here in Milwaukee, I ride the bus to save time and money."
"Take it from a man who knows, your Milwaukee County Transit System is really out of this world."
