This Friday, Milwaukee's newest lounge, Suite, 1103 N. Old World 3rd St., enters the world of Milwaukee fashion.

Its first public event, "Fashion Affair," combines the style of Ma Jolie and expertise of Neroli Salon and Spa. The runway show, featuring 20 models and over 60 looks, benefits the YWCA's "Dress for Success" program.

"We're hosting it as a new business in Milwaukee," says Laura Daniel, sales manager at Suite. "We've had so many people come through our doors in just the first few months and we want to give back to the community by doing an event like this."

"Dress for Success" is part of a national program to provide women with appropriate clothing for job interviews as well as other tools to empower women to pull themselves into favorable financial standing.

"I think it's a really suitable charity, especially in these economically tough times. We felt that fashion is really a part of the feeling we create at Suite. We plan to do an event bi-annually and potentially coordinate it with "Fashion Week" in the fall," Daniels says. "Our business is really thriving and we're doing great in a time when not everyone is doing great. We want to help people who are in need."

Suite teamed with Milwaukee based MaJolie and Neroli Salon and Spa. The male models come from John Casablanca/Elite and female models are from My City Promotions.

The event, which is transforming the interior of Suite and is hosted by Rahny of KISS FM, is sure to offer VIP service for a worthy cause.

Doors open at 9 p.m. General admission is $20 and VIP seating (includes swag bag, prime seating and champagne) is $40.
