This summer, the Public Policy Forum will survey 1,000 southeastern Wisconsin citizens about race relations.

According to research associate James Robinson, "The Public Policy Forum is interested in measuring attitudes, behaviors and beliefs about race issues. The purpose is to generate a genuine regional dialog on an issue that can be a barrier to our region's economic competitiveness."

The Public Policy Forum is seeking your assistance. Below, provided by the Public Policy Forum, are some questions to help you come up with specific questions you would like to ask 1,000 of the region's citizens.

1) What is the best thing about race relations in southeastern Wisconsin?
2) What is the worst thing about race relations in southeastern Wisconsin?
3) What are the obstacles to improved race relations in our region?
4) What needs to happen to improve race relations in our region?
5) What specific actions can white, African American and Latino people take to improve race relations?
6) What can government, schools, corporations and other institutions do to improve race relations?
7) What aspects of race don't people talk about?

To submit your questions and become a part of this important study contact The Public Policy Forum at (414) 276-8240 or via e-mail at jrobinson@publicpolicyforum.org.
