Jewel is currently in the studio working on her next album, but she's booked a July 27 show at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee. Jewel's last Atlantic album, 2003's "0304," found her moving in new musical directions inspired by her interest in modern dance beats and textures.
Pabst officials have also announced that Brian Wilson's "Smile" tour comes on Aug. 23. Tickets go on sale April 8 (April 4 for Pabst eMembers).
Wilson began working with the Beach Boys on "Smile" -- intended to have been the follow-up to "Pet Sounds" -- more than three-and-a-half decades ago, and he finally got 'round to finishing it with The Wondermints last year.
Watch OMC and pabsttheater.org for ticket information for the Jewel show.
