Despite rumors, a Chin's Asia Fresh will not open in the old Giovanni's space on the corner of Van Buren and Brady Street. According to Chin's spokesperson Missy Schmidt, Chin's did consider the location, but decided against it.
Currently, there are two Chin's restaurants in the Milwaukee area: 2907 N. Oakland Ave. and 17550 W. Bluemound Rd.
Caribou Coffee admits to also scoping the spot, but a spokesperson would not comment Thursday because nothing has been signed. Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.com as more information becomes available.
