ESPN.com is reporting that the Milwaukee Bucks have traded Desmond Mason to the New Orleans Hornets for center Jamaal Magloire.
The trade, which will be announced later today, sends Mason to the Hornets, along with the Bucks' 2006 first-round pick and cash. In exchange, Milwaukee gets Magloire, who was an NBA All Star in 2004.
Magloire was injured much of last season with a fractured ring finger and played only 23 games. He averaged 11.7 points per game.
The 28-year-old Mason averaged 17.2 points per game last year and was drafted by Seattle.
According to ESPN.com, the Hornets have been looking to deal Magloire after they traded Baron Davis to Golden State in February. The Bucks will play Magloire along with first-round draft pick center Andrew Bogut.
