WISN morning co-anchor Rebecca Kleefisch has decided to take some time off to become a full-time mom, and will continue in her current role only through the end of November.
Caroline Lyders will join WISN-TV (Channel 12) as news anchor/reporter in late October. Lyders comes to WISN-TV from WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio, where she was a reporter and anchor. She also served as a reporter for television stations in New York and South Carolina.
"We respect Rebecca's decision to take some time off, but will greatly miss her contributions at Channel 12," said WISN News Director Barb Maushard. "Rebecca gave us several months notice in making this transition and I'm thrilled that we were able to identify Caroline as a new member of our morning news team."
