Cook & Franke partner William A. Jennaro, a retired Circuit Court Judge, has been included in the 2006 "Best Lawyers in America." Jennaro was selected for his abilities in the area of mediation and arbitration (Alternative Dispute Resolution).
More than 18,500 American attorneys vote on the legal skills of their colleagues and the winners are included in the prestigious book, which doesn't require those included any fee or purchase.
Jennaro, a 1965 UW-Milwaukee graduate, earned his law degree from Marquette in 1968. He is a former Milwaukee County assistant district attorney; established and led the Milwaukee County Juvenile Court's Public Defender Program in 1970; and was elected County Court Judge in Milwaukee County in 1972. He has been a partner at Cook & Franke since 1984. He is also a former president of the Italian Community Center and current chairman of the board of Festa Italiana and is on the Milwaukee World Festival board.
