Gilligan docks to the south and jazz comes to Brewer's Hill

Gilligan's, 904 S. Barclay St., will open soon in the Walker's Point/Fifth Ward neighborhood. They are claiming to have "Milwaukee's only outdoor patio bar, with a stone waterfall with flowing streams, a ship wrecked boat, tiki hut and an outdoor beach!"
No word on the Skipper's whereabouts. Call (414) 649-9905 to apply for a variety of jobs that will be available at the new place and watch OMC for more details.
In other news, word is a trio of entrepreneurs is opening a jazz lounge at 1821 N. Martin Luther King Drive. More news to follow.
