Milwaukee has a bunch of hoppin' blocks equipped to make all your drunken dreams come true, but which one is your favorite for nighttime debauchery? Or, to put it another way, let's say you could only party on one block in Milwaukee for a year, which one would it be? North Avenue? Water Street? State Street? National Avenue? Center Street?
Last week's question: What do you think of Bayshore Town Center?
The new Bayshore Town Center will be great as soon as Christmas is moved to June and people can actually shop outdoors -- not sure who overlooked the fact that 70 percent of all retail sales occur in November and December! Also, fighting foot traffic AND cars at the same time -- give me a break. I'll take my coat off and shop at Mayfair or Brookfield Square, thank you.

The Bayshore Town Center is wonderful. It feels like a charming little city in itself. I just wish they had more shops for men. Perhaps they should add more stores like Sharper Image or Apple Computers. Or how about a sports bar?

I made the mistake of driving through Bayshore Town Center on Saturday around lunchtime. I liked the "town feeling," but I didn't like driving with all the people walking across the street, and I don't like having to park in parking structures and I will not like having to wear a coat, dragging packages around and walking a mile with all the packages to park. Since I live so close, I will probably end up going there, but it will not be my first place to shop in our winter weather.

Not that impressed. My parents offered for me to park at their house and walk seven blocks so I didn't have to deal with the parking. Hum, I don't think so. It looks nice, but the majority of the stores are geared towards women, girls and kids. No wonder why men, real men, hate shopping with a passion with places like this. Ever wonder why we like the great outdoors? Now you know one of the answers.
