Summerfest adds big-name Encore sponsor

Summerfest announced at a press conference Monday that U.S. Cellular has signed on as a sponsor of the new Encore festival at the Henry Maier Festival Grounds, Sept. 2-4.
“The Encore will offer the best of Summerfest, a great opportunity for college friends and families to end the summer with a smile,” said Don Smiley, Milwaukee World Festival CEO.
Milwaukee World Festival has announced a few of the performers for the first festival -- including The Donnas, Jimmy Eat World, The Temptations, Local H, Los Lonely Boys, The Gufs and Blue County -- and said others will be announced soon. Stay tuned to OMC for updates.
