Children's Hospital of Wisconsin has been rated No. 3 among all pediatric hospitals in the nation by Child magazine. And its Emergency Department earned the elite No. 1 spot for pediatric emergency medical care, and the Herma Heart Center was rated No. 5 in pediatric cardiac care.
Survey results and articles about the top 10 children's hospitals and five "super-specialties" are published in the February 2005 issue of Child magazine, available on newsstands Tuesday, Jan. 11. The magazine has been mailed to subscribers and also will be available to CHHS employees. NBC's "Today Show" carried this news live Tuesday morning.
