We're not a police, fire, crime, car crash publication, but when an accident happens a block from home, you pay attention and pray for those involved.
I didn't see the crash that occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Wells and 2nd Streets, but I heard it and the near-instant response of emergency vehicles.
Once I got outside, I saw a City Veteran cab with minimal damage on its front and a flipped four-door automobile laying on its back on 2nd Street. Scary. I prayed for the victim as he / she was being taken, on a stretcher, into the ambulance.
I don't know the details (but will add when I hear or when we get the police report), but do know that I hope everyone is OK.
