Despite retail and residential buzz about Bay View, the neighborhood hasn't had a new event recently to highlight its charms -- besides the Saturday Farmer Market and, of course, the legendary South Shore Water Frolics and its fine parade.
But now, the Bay View Neighborhood Association will host the first Bay View Bash, Saturday, Oct. 2 with music, food and fun spread over four blocks on Kinnickinnic Avenue.
Among the supporters already on board are Hi-Fi, Sven's, RushMor Records, Frank's Power Plant and Apple-a-Day Massage.
