Moda3, the lifestyle shop at 320 E. Buffalo St. in the Third Ward, dumps 50,000 lbs. of snow on the streets on Sat., Sept. 30 for its annual "Boardfest."

Pro snow boarders Mason and Molly Aquirre will be in town for the event which will feature snowboard rail and open skate competitions, food, drink, a huge sale and a fashion show from Burton.

Boardfest kicks off Friday night at The Rave with a video premiere from snowboard manufacturer Forum. The actual event kicks off at noon Saturday with an after party for those over 21 at Moct.

Bring the family, as this is always one of the coolest Downtown neighborhood events of the fall.
