Moda3 and Burton Snowboards host Milwaukee's Second Annual Boardfest on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 2 to 10 p.m. in the Historic Third Ward. Last year's event drew hundreds, including many families and some of the best local skate and snow boarders.

Twenty tons of snow will be delivered and the "snowfall" will shut down the streets and serve as the setting for the Midwest's No. 1 snowboard event. Olympic silver medalist, four-time U.S. Open Champion and X-Games gold medalist, Danny Kass, will appear and perform and there will be competitions and free styling by many others. Music, prizes and national reps from some of the best board and clothing lines in the country will round out the event.
