In another sign that it won't be long before cats and dogs start mating, there will be sledding in Milwaukee Thursday.
Whitnall Park will open its sledding hill, 5879 S. 92nd St., for kids on spring break, and for kids of all ages. The Whitnall Park clubhouse will be open for sledders to warm up in and purchase food and beverages from noon to 8 p.m.
The sledding hill at Whitnall Park will remain open as long as the weather permits. County Parks recommend that young children are supervised by adults and remind that sledding is not permitted on slopes that end in a street, drop off, parking lot, river or pond.
