Cheap! Honestly 2 bucks? Milwaukee is the only city where people actually walk into bars and expect free drinks. Try that in Tempe AZ or in Chicago and see what happens. WOW.

I went there with a group of people after work. We all ordered food and had several rounds of drinks. Everything was good.....until I ordered a soda later in the night. After a couple drinks, I wanted a soda and man did they pop me. I think it was something ridiculous like 2 bucks. I know its not too much in the grand scheme of things but I hate it when I feel like I am getting ripped off. Other bars....a buck, maybe 1.50 and guess what when I am there for awhile a lot of bars just comp the soda. One of my friends who is a bartender who was with me thought it was LAME. I agree. I thought it was a fluke, went back again...same damm thing.

I recently went to Zim's and absolutely LOVED it! If you're looking for a fun atmosphere that is usually 24-30yr olds, has great music, or decent priced drinks then you need to go check out Zim's! The service is comparable to any other bar you will go to and you will rarely have to wait as long as other bars around the Milwaukee area. I will be visiting Zim's and that area on Milwaukee St. much more often now! Just go check it out!!

To all Zim's patrons current or prospective, and espcially Latinvictor2003, to whom I personally apologize. The staff and management at Zim's works hard everyday to exceed customer expectations, the success of Zim's sometimes catches off guard and we stumble. We have implemented many changes to address the problems that occurred that evening, of which I vividly remember. We have increased server and service training, added a beer cart to get commonly ordered bottled beer out faster allowing the bar tenders to focus on more mixed drinks, and streamlined our computer system to speed up ordering and checkout time. Specifically to Latinvictor2003, I hope you and your friends give Zim's another shot.

I was recently in this bar for a get together party. The bar itself is well put together but the staff is a whole other thing. It took 30 minutes to get a drink from our waitress "stella." When I attempted to get a drink from the batender I waited nearly 20 mintues just get her attention just to get ignored again. When our drinks finally arrived we were on our way out the door. The waitress then proceeded to give us a sob story about the Owner/manager Zimm being so drunk that he went home. I was told he had changed something with the computer the waitresses use. Either way, I will not step foot in that place again nor would I recommend anyone else to due so.
