Description [edit]
You have to see Paddy's Pub to believe it. The bar is basically just a well-decorated living room with an ever present green cast to it. What makes Paddy's so great, though, is its authentic Irish charm. The beer is fresh and served at the right temperature. Of course, they have Guinness and Harp on tap. Paddy's owners also work there, and you'll get a lesson on fine scotch if you ask nicely.

what a totally fantastic place for a friday night. stopped in a few weeks ago and had the best time in a long time. We thought maybe there was something suspicious about oue looks as both the owner and Sean the irish dance came over to our table and chatted with us. The irish sure know how to party and even though we are not irish they made us feel like part of the clan. GREAT PLACE

I was here back a couple months or so and I can't tell everyone how bad my friend and I were treated. The owner who was behind the bar that night treated us so unprofessionally you would have thought he was trying to run the place to the ground. I too bought a beer and couldn't finsh it because it tasted so bad. I asked for something different which was less money and told me I had to pay for another. I told him the beer was bad so instead he told me he's not having a beer tasting. I couldn't believe it! He told me if you don't like get out. Again this was the owner.I'm like the last guy there are many other drinking establishments in this city and I think my money is green there and more than likley even get a smile.

I used to love Paddy's Pub. The summer months were an especially enjoyable time to sit on the patio and enjoy the company of friend. I have frequented this establishment many times but the latest was the last time I will set foot inside. The service by the bartenders was horrible. The owner himself was offensive when a simple misunderstanding concerning a drink order resulted in the bartender CURSING at me and accusing me of being intoxicated when in fact he misheard what I had said. I have worked in the service industry for many years and have never treated a customer in the way that I was treated during this exchange. After telling both the manager and owner how upset I was for being treated in such a way they simply told me that they did not care if I were to ever frequent their establishment again. Talk about hospitality. Not only was I offended by the bartenders comment to check my ego at the door and his following statement which is completely inappropriate to repeat in a respectable public forum but for him to do so in front of his manager and the owner without reprimand was absolutely unacceptable. It saddens me that customer service at this establishment apparently no longer exists at this establishment.

A 'must see' for both locals and tourists. A unique, eclectic hideaway, decorated in antiques and collectables from around the world, with live entertainment and no cover charge. Relaxing yet upbeat, Irish music make for a nice change from the Jazz clubs that seem to dot the East Side. The patio open in the summer is not your usual MKE "beer garden". This patio is overflowing with summer flowers and has running waterfall fountains. Patio has it's own bar located in a cute, tiny building also decorated in kitsch collectables. The owner Woody walks through the crowd greeting everone and making everyone feel like they are at home, even on their first visit. Not much of a wine list. The crowd is mostly drinkers, so be sure to check out the huge selection of rare and unusual Irish Whiskey. Smoking is not allowed in the attic bar where the entertainment is, or in the front lower levels, only downstairs in the first barroom or out on the patio. Seating is scarce, so expect to share a table with others and meet some of the friendliest, most interesting people around. All ages congregate at Paddy's and the dress is 'urban casual'. Public parking is right across the street and plenty of other bars and eateries within walking distance, but you probably won't want to leave Paddy's once you get there and settle in and enjoy the Irish hospitality.
