A remnant of Bay View's northern Italian community, the first such enclave in the city, Club Garibaldi -- named for the great Italian patriot -- is also a reminder of the many mutual aid societies that Italian-American communities founded throughout America. Nowadays, few people make the connection anymore and Club Garibaldi became known as one of the must-hit spots on a south sider's night out, drawing glass tippers from as distant as South Milwaukee. Purchased by a former Points East Pub bartender, Club Garibaldi is becoming better known to East Siders, although many remember the gigs featuring local bands held in the spacious back room more than a decade ago. A friendly place with an honorable history, Club Garibaldi sits just across the Hoan Bridge making it a mere five-minute ride from downtown.	[edit]

Went to Club G for wings on wing night. Was told that there would be an hour and a half wait. We patiently sat and drank a few pitches of $9 High Life, which tasted funny. Two hours passed by and we went back to the bar to check on our wings and the bartender gave us attitude. Something like you'll get 'em when you get 'em and that we should shut up and not ask again. There were a lot of people there, and it didn't help that they're just slow at making their wings which works well for them as people sit there buying their expensive beer while waiting. We ended up getting our money back and going across the street to the Palomino for some quality food and $1 cans of PBR.

This guy has no clue what he is talkin about! I ordered wings to go after lookin at an old on Milwaukee article on Club Garibaldi that said they were 15 for $8 although that was 2007 now that I checked to see. I came to get the wings and to find out they were now 15 for $12 which is fine cause there so damn good!!! I told the bartender which greeted as I walked in and he told the owner that I didn't have enough cash on hand for the order due to using an old article to figure my price. Well the owner was like hey its cool give me forty and its cool. This was $8 dollars less than my total!!!! Who does that anymore!!!! They are the bomb and I will always direct all my friends to them for wings. By the way Points East Can can't compare! So go go go to the Club Garilbaldi's for your eating and drinking needs ps Thanks Again Guys!!!!!!! I'll be back!!!!!!!!

This place has fallen. Poor service by rude burnt-out bartenders, and the wings on Wednesday aren't what they used to be. Add in a crappy juke box and there's no real reason to go anymore. Better options are plentiful.
