According to Anne Sprecher of Sprecher Brewing Co., Sprecher and New Glarus products were removed from Miller Park yesterday.
"This was much to our surprise," says Sprecher. "And we'd like to know why since we know our sales were strong."
Sprecher says her beers' sales went up 25 percent this year - which makes sense due to the Brewers' success this season.
Tyler Barnes, vice president of communications for the Milwaukee Brewers, was not available for comment.

Yo curleykid, I'm not sure if you missed the memo, but Sprecher and New Glarus are local operations. Before something can be considered an "import", it has to come from OUTSIDE the country, let alone the state. You may want to head back to elementary school and re-learn the whole import/export lesson.

I used to like Sprecher Beers but haven't drank them since they started to focus on soda and their beer quality suffered. Amber tastes nothing like it originally did (Sprecher outsourced its production for awhile!). Last time I had BV on tap it was still pretty good, but you don't see that on tap anywhere now.
