New Berlin neighbors find friends, fun at Lee's
A lot of taverns like to refer to themselves as "neighborhood" establishments.
Lee's Cleveland Pub and Grill, 14000 W. Cleveland Ave., in New Berlin, really means it.
Matt Lee's 16-month-old establishment is located in a rather quiet residential neighborhood. The building, which previously housed Gabby's Deli and long before that a PDQ food store, was vacant when Lee took over.
A veteran of the bar business, Lee envisioned his new place as a combination Irish pub and sports bar.
Here is a scouting report:

I won't go back until the smoking ban is implemented. This bar/restaurant was WAY too smokey!

I've eaten here twice. Friendly and cute bartenders, food is terrific. Beer prices are extremely reasonable considering the 'large' is a 24oz glass stein. free shuffleboard on the largest table I've ever seen. What's not to like? I'll definitely go back!

Their ribeye sandwich is GREAT! The only complaint I have is that the TVs are too loud for the afternoon; in the evening, I can see why, but during the lunch hour?

When I was a kid I lived a couple blocks away. I think I once shoplifted from the PDQ, some type of Wonka treat. What's the statute of limitations on that?
